Apollo just a short drive from Ft. Myers, Florida, Regional Southwest Airport. At Apollo on the Beach, unit 706, you'll have your own private balcony with southwest exposure, allowing you to relax and take in the beautiful sunsets night in and night out! Take in the unobstructed views of Marco Island's beautiful white sandy beaches. Unit 706 is a 1 bed 1 bath, WiFi, flat screen TVs in both the living room and bedroom. re-decorated throughout! Fully equipped kitchen to cook up your favorite meals. The Sunset Grille, voted 'best happy hour' on the island, is located on the ground floor. The Apollo is the only condo on Marco Beach that has the convenience of a restaurant on the premises!

You'll find excellent restaurants in Marco and Goodland, a unique near-by fishing village. The Marco Movie Theatre serves food while you're viewing the latest movie. Many restaurants will prepare your fresh catch. Rose Marina offers boat rentals for cruising or fishing, a narrated lunch or dinner cruise around the island and Key West Excursions. For relaxation, soak up the sun with a good book or go shelling while walking on the beach. If your daily routine includes exercise, then try the Apollo exercise room, rent a bike, scooter or wave runner, putt around on a near-by golf course, snorkel or dive, jet-ski or parasail. We enjoyed our second year at the Apollo. It's a great location with access to the beach and Sunrise Grill. Our bed was a little soft, but we got through it.

The property was clean and comfortable as described with excellent views of the gulf. We just happened to pick the coldest week in southwest Florida in many years. The temperature finally warmed up to enjoy the beach.

The Apollo was an excellent place to go for a relaxing vacation. Marco Island is wonderful, relaxing, fun, and has great restaurants. We heard some excellent local music at the Italian Deli, a great place to hear music and go for a drink. Our unit was very clean and perfect for us. It had everything we needed and also had beach gear. The balcony view was wonderful and made you feel like you did not need to go anywhere. The sunsets were beautiful and the pool and beach were great! Highly recommend it, especially for a couple looking to relax. The Apollo was wonderful and the people at the desk were very friendly.

The location is great with a perfect view of the beach. We saw plenty of dolohins and birds right from the balcony, which is also a great place to watch the sunset. Everything we needed was there, uncluding a washer and dryer accross the hall. An outdoor closet full of beach chairs and kids sand toys allowed us to hit the beach immediatley "fully equipped". Really great restaurants of all kinds are nearby, including the grill downstairs. We have rented condos and beach houses all over the world and we would come back to this one if Marco Island is our destination.

What we liked - Location and beautiful view - Great check-in experience - Kitchen was well furnished - Closed to Doreen’s restaurant Opportunities to improve: - Shower did not have strong water pressure - Couch and extra blankets smelled dirty - Bed was not comfortable We would come back to the same building but we would probably look for a different apartment.

The hot water heater is a bit small and old as hot water was limited and top is rusted. The bed was comfortable but squeaked some. Th unit overall needed some work - rust in places, locks need some work - but comfortable. Need more instructions on the tv controls

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental experience was great! I wouldn't change a thing. The unit itself, though, I'm not sure I would rent again. For the price, there were no kitchen towels (I bought some), so basket for dirtyy clothes. The loungers on the patio were soiled and dirty. It was just not the best of stays. BUT, havig said that, we will continue to go through Harborview Rental for our condos. They are very accommodating and were very good about getting our patio door fixed within a day. The view is amazing! That's the best part :-)!

The condo was very clean. Felt very safe there. There are keys to get in the building, on the elevator, in the pool area and back from the beach! David at the Apollo was so kind and welcoming. Great location. Bed was comfortable but squeaked a little. I purchased towels and coasters to keep there. There was an old dirty towel hanging in the bathroom for us to use. We had to do a lot of laundry to keep up with having enough towels to use. The laundry costs $1.75 per load and we had to buy the soap and dryer sheets. I think that’s common for condo rentals though. Winn Dixie and Wal Mart were much cheaper than Publix. We came during a berm project and the beach was very crowded with people right on top of us. Overall it’s a nice condo for 2 and you can’t beat the view. I would also like to add that the condo looked better than the pictures. I was pleasantly surprised when we opened the door.

The unit is Beachfront and walking distance to fine restaurants. It was clean, with brand new beach chairs, and reserved covered parking. There was comfortable furniture and plenty of towels. The heated pool was never crowded and had plenty of lounge chairs available.

It’s nice having a restaurant on the property. I’m sure we will be back.The only downsides are the cleanliness of the unit. The floor was not clean. Every sink, but especially the bathroom sinks were plugged with hair and filth. I cleaned the floor when we arrived; no biggie. The sinks took several attempts with the plunger and a coat hanger for one. Pulled wads of hair out. Also, the policy of only one roll of tp and paper towels we need to remember. A $10 investment would provide enough for a week and would create more than that in good will.
