Beachfront 1 Bed w/ On Site Tiki Bar/Restaurant!

Book your ticket to paradise, Apollo just a short drive from Ft. Myers, Florida, Regional Southwest Airport. At Apollo on the Beach, unit 503, you'll have your own private balcony with southwest exposure, allowing you to relax and take in the beautiful sunsets night in and night out! Take in the unobstructed views of Marco Island's beautiful white sandy beaches. Unit 503 is a one bedroom/bath, WiFi, flat screen TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and microwave. The Sunset Grille, voted 'best happy hour' on the island, is located on the ground floor. The Apollo is the only condo on Marco Beach that has the convenience of a restaurant on the premises!

You'll find excellent restaurants in Marco and Goodland, a unique near-by fishing village. The Marco Movie Theatre serves food while you're viewing the latest movie. Many restaurants will prepare your fresh catch. Rose Marina offers boat rentals for cruising or fishing, a narrated lunch or dinner cruise around the island and Key West Excursions. For relaxation, soak up the sun with a good book or go shelling while walking on the beach. If your daily routine includes exercise, then try the Apollo exercise room, rent a bike, scooter or wave runner, putt around on a near-by golf course, snorkel or dive, jet-ski or parasail. For less strenuous activity, visit the Immokalee Casino, take a helicopter ride or plane ride, or enjoy the many island shops and the Outlet Mall north of Marco. Nature lovers should check out Rookery Bay, and tour the Everglades in an air boat or swamp buggy or relax on a beautiful double decker boat to see the local flora and fauna. Access to the beach was was great parking was very eas. awesome view from the condo balcony was gorgeous. I would recommend this condo to anyone .

the bathroom was dirty, still had someone else's hair on the sink, the tub was not clean visible soap scum. the bed was droopy on both sides. We found hair on the comforter that clearly had not been washed, there was a stain on it that was not from us, we had three partial rolls of paper towel one of which had the fingerprints from said stain on comforter left on it. the parking spot was very slim and difficult to get in and out of due to other cars in the same area, plenty of open spaces that could have been used instead. the guy power washed the deck for hours on end, starting at 7AM, I was on vacation so I did not need to be awakened that early. I do understand the need to do it but clearly he was taking his time. We saw a lady from the public beach access allow her child to defecate right in front of the condo building, his little fanny right out there for all to see. (Not your fault I know, but very disappointing to see) I would not stay in that building, the size of the unit was quite small. The gentleman in the front desk of the building was very kind and nice, We did not have interactions with others in the building.

First trip to Marco Island - February 2021

Great location - 5th floor on the beach. Older building but our room was clean and fairly well equipped. No storage - the bedside chest was full of sheets and towels, and the closet shelf was full of blankets. "Kitchen" adequately equipped if you don't plan on doing much cooking. We ate breakfast there most days but had our big meal out. Covered parking was a plus, as was the Sunset Grille in the building. Nice pool with plenty of chairs. Thank you for the full moon and great sunsets - a most appreciated getaway from a bitter cold Missouri.

The location was great, but the condo not so much

The location is amazing! Right on the beach was very convenient. That was the plus side. I preface the rest of my review by stating I also rent my lake property throughout the year, so know the importance of doing things right. When booking this trip, maybe I did not see that everything went through the management company. The dealings were pretty impersonal. First off, you had to go to a separate address several blocks away to get the keys to the condo, and then when leave do the same thing. There was a box to open to get to your items. No one was there that Sunday afternoon. When I returned, there was a gal there. I did not say anything to her, since I was in a hurry. At the condo, when you get to the door for the front entrance you cannot get in without a key, and luckily the key on the ring works, but I had not figured that out yet. Luckily a kind traveler let me in. The keys to the condo and the neighboring closet to get your beach chairs are tough to use at times. The door locks also stick so need to be careful your door is really locked when you leave. They provide virtually nothing, but the basics, not even salt and pepper or laundry detergent. My sink soap was a bar of bath soap. And, the laundry you have to pay for. In all fairness, I do not know if this is the management company's fault or the owner, but I always supply the basic condiments, etc. There were a few toiletries though. When I called to ask for a plug for the tub, it was offered that I could buy one or they could. I told them they could and could drop it off, and did. I'm on vacation. There are also ants everywhere from the kitchen to the bathroom. Pulled back the couch to look to make sure I did not lose or forget anything when I left and there looked to be a piece of old dried apricot. Cleaning staff needs to do better. The bed needs a new mattress badly. I have traveled for business and have stayed in hundreds of hotels as well as rentals and I have to say that bed by far is the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in. I had to take my as needed sleeping meds for the first time in a year at this condo. And, I woke up to go to the bathroom several times in severe pain because of being in one position too long in this bed. Please replace that mattress. I probably could have been kinder in my review but lack of adequate sleep, and the pain from any sleep I did get in that bed, clouds my thinking for anything better than what I gave.

Getaway

The location was exactly what we were looking for, in front of the beach amazing views. The condo needs upgrading in their furniture it’s quite worn out but the location kinda of paid off. Not a private beach but since you are right in front, you can just walk there whenever is less crowded.

Perfect location

Ideal for sunset viewing. Close to the most convenient beach bar and restaurant. Only negative was the hard mattress.
