"Lovely, spacious property in a very peaceful location. We stayed 19 nights to use as a base for house hunting and although the weather prevented us from spending more time relaxing on the lovely terrace it didn't spoil our enjoyment of this holiday. "Lovely traditional property with modern amenities with a good size pool. Very peaceful rural location. Excellent communication from the owners of the property and Mr and Mrs Keys, the property managers, were extremely helpful and accommodating. You will need a car to access supermarkets/sight seeing etc. but there are lots of beautiful areas to see. Cognac is beautiful and reasonably close. "Had a lovely time in your chateau, thanks very much. The house was really beautiful, loads of space and lots of quirky features like the piano, vintage bicycles and attic rooms. Lady next door selling local cognac was very friendly. At night the sky was so dark, excellent for stargazing. The river charente is lovely for swimming in. Super!"
