"A beautiful and restful finale to our Italy trip! Castello del Duca was the perfect place to wind down before heading home. The property is beautifully kept and the pool was a lifesaver in the summer heat — our daughters loved it and it gave them a great reprieve after weeks of travel. "Rooms and hallways smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. It took 45 minutes just to check in. This was our third year in a row staying here for a connection flight. The first stay was fine, the second was disappointing, and we decided to give it one last chance. Unfortunately, this stay was even worse. The convenience of the location isn’t worth the poor service, long check-in, and overall hassle, even for a one-night layover. We won’t be staying here again."
