"We had an excellent week at Il Querciolo. It is an ideal location for a base to explore Tuscany with Arezzo, Siena and Florence all within easy reach. If you prefer quieter smaller towns, there are plenty to choose from, such as Cortona, Monte San Savino, Gargonza, Lucignano, Castiglion Fiorentino - all close by. Cesare and family were amazing hosts and provided a warm welcome and plenty of suggestions of places to visit. They also produce some amazing wine, which you have to try when you stay....

"Beautiful winery, hotel and restaurant in great location close to Montepulciano, yet away from the crowds. Lovely staff, food, wine experience and premises. Rooms are elegant, large and quite well furnished with everything. The pool is a big plus after a day of meandering in the heat. Highly recommend."
