Grandma Jo’s
5/5 Excellent
Grandma Jo’s cabin
"Everything was set up, neat & clean, ready for our arrival. I had been provided the check-in info and getting in was a breeze. We blew a fuse and the host was on it immediately! We were concerned about not having a full-size fridge or freezer. The host offered a solution that we didn’t take advantage of but were grateful to have available to us.The sheets, towels, & blankets were clean and comfy! We were hunting, left and returned in the dark. The walkway from the street parking area to the cabin could use a little lighting, especially since it’s an uneven stone path that leads through black chain “fencing”. We took advantage of the chairs on the front porch but not the beautiful gazebo or gas grill. The yard was beautifully kept too! We personally decided that bunk beds are no longer “for” us . The bed was very comfortable but up against the wall isn’t convenient if you need to get up in the middle of the night to pee. That’s a personal need, certainly not a criticism of the cabin. The community of Northport has very limited amenities. We were thankful we came prepared with everything we needed for a week. The convenience store was open 0700 to 2000 daily, gas pumps open 24/7, and a wonderful bakery (I don’t know the hours). Our activities kept us away outside of those hours. It’s important to understand what’s available and when, so you come prepared. There are no restaurants, no grocery store.THANK YOU for the YELLOWSTONE COFFEE!"
