This was a perfect and unique experience for our family. We loved riding bikes to Sunset Beach and kayaking in the mornings. The aqua lodge was such a cool way to stay in the Keys! Our kids absolutely loved it! The property was so clean and peaceful. We would recommend to anyone and would stay again!

The staff were all very friendly and kind, we stayed in a lovely house boat. (It looked in the pic as if all house boats were on the key but we were enclosed between 2 others) It was still lovely though. The beds were very comfortable, it was clean and the lounge area and tv were great. We were 2 hours early so the receptionist and cleaner got all the clean laundry and finished the boat together so we could get in. (Very considerate and smiley) The pool and surrounding area were very clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay! Cabins was clean and as represented. Staff was polite and helpful, although a little hard to understand at times. Used the laundry facilities and those worked fine as well. We enjoyed playing pickleball and the pool amenities. Overall a great place and reasonable value compared to other places!!

Expedia had our rental as a "deluxe Bungalow" which we thought was one of the nice cabins. when we checked in we were assigned a houseboat. The nice lady said that Expedia called a houseboat a deluxe bungalow and the "aqua lodge" was all that was available. She showed it to us, and it was very nice. It was smaller than the cabin but had separate sleeping quarters which we needed. This is a nice property, clean and well maintained. The staff is exceptional. We will definitely return, on boat or on land.

We had a nice stay here. The place seems brand new still. It's nice that they have kayaks, pickleball equipment, and gas grills available for free use. The one drawback is that this place is far enough north from the main town area that you cannot really walk to much. The Island House restaurant is walkable and was a great experience. Overall, this made a nice place for our Marathon adventure.
