Overall, this was a beautiful area. It was like going back in time to the 'old' Italy as it used to be. It was so peaceful after all the resort and over-touristed areas.

"This hotel doesn't like guests! The staff were surly and unhelpful. Example 1: Swimming in the pool, being yelled at by the staff and told to get out - the rules say that you can't swim unless you are wearing a rubber skullcap (circa 1950) - both men and women! "Beautiful peaceful location set in the mountains and overlooking the ocean with breathtaking views. The house was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped with everything we needed. Be aware it is situated high up the mountain, the drive is spectacular though, and the road is good.It must be perfect for a family getaway, but our experience was limited to one night only, due to our time restrictions. We would love to return.
