"Great one night stay with River view and a nice balcony. Bed was comfy and clean. Shower pressure is great. You can walk to everything! Breakfast is fine, good bang for your buck. I would definitely stay again for this river view. "

Viandina Machupicchu
2.5 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (127)
"Cute little hotel/guest house approximately 8 min walk from the train station uphill on the street with multiple restaurants and souvenir shops. Just a 3-min walk to the entrance of the Thermal Baths. The room was kind of small but very clean and well-maintained. The staff is super friendly. Breakfast was okay the first morning (bread, jelly, cereals, lunch meat and cheese, coffee), better the second morning (we were also offered fried eggs). Hot water in the shower was inconsistent. "No room cleaning service, breakfast was given as I big favor. The sink and shower are a disaster. Noise all night. One towel was given for each guest. No space or hook for towels in the bathroom. An employee brought breakfast after being distracted from cleaning a room without washing hands in between. "

Rupa Rupa High Jungle Eco B&B
3.5 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very Good, (77)
"The Rupa Rupa is up quite a steep set of stairs. Once up there the room for four was large enough, however the bathroom is a bit small for four people. The breakfast was good and staff were friendly. You can hear the birds in the morning but also the nightlife so it's not quiet most of the day. Overall it was great, just be sure you can do 5 flights of stairs often and are okay with mountain air moisture."

"Dislike - Some mould in shower. Rooms may not have been attented to well as protests had caused lockdowns. Service by Carlos was great though - he let us leave bags there after checkout while we were at M Picchu."

MACHUPICCHU GUEST HOUSE
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (12)
"I stayed here with my husband and mother since we were going to Machu Picchu. It was a great place to stay since it was close to everything and the bus/trek to the mountain. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff was incredibly friendly and lovely! The only downside to staying here was that it was pretty cold at night, but I wouldn't say that it's a deal breaker at all."

Anais Hostel Machupicchu
2.5 star property
4.6 out of 10, (3)
"We could not find the property. We got a local person affiliated with the company that we did the Inca Trail with to attempt to take us to the Hostel. The problem was that the address listed in Expedia led to an abandoned building that was being worked on. They may have had a temporary location set up, but we got locals to phone the numbers listed and there was no answer. So, we stayed at another place instead."

Inka Wonder
2.5 star property
7.8 out of 10, Good, (93)
"Inka Wonder is in a great location in town. The room overlooked the river and was very comfortable. The staff were helpful & a small breakfast was included, the coffee was really good. I did have to pay with cash at the hotel in local currency as they do not take credit cards which seems to be common in Peru. "

"The team here really cannot do enough for you. Met me off the train and took me straight to get my bus ticket before the office closed. Also arranged a guide. Spotlessly clean and everything is new. Very quiet the night I was there too. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. 10/10"

"Joan picked us up from the training station and showed us to our room. The room was huge, 3 king beds the shower and jacuzzi facility was good, cant beat the price for the size. Not all of the functions of the shower worked like the side shower but the main one worked. The jacuzzi also worked well. We did not experience the bugs and insect like the other patrons in the reviews, although the room did not have air conditioning during the evening with the windows open it was good, we only spent...
