"La struttura è molto spartana, il mangiare è scarso e non buono. Abbiamo avuto lunch box con panini vuoti! Il rapporto qualità prezzo è assurdo! ...poi il serengheti ripaga di ogni inconveniente!"

"Ok experience. Nothing more and nothing less. Two Norwegians pretty used to comfort and good accommodations, and this wasn’t all the way as expected at this price level, even though it’s Serengeti. The staff were very bad in English, so we found ourselves lost in translation very often. Which made planning a safari a bit of a challenge. However, our safari guide was fantastic. The food was ok, but variety was not good at all. The worst: This hotel is MUCH more expensive than they disclose...

"I’ve never thought such service exists. The place, the stuff , the hotel itself were incredible. Safari was so exciting. The camp you live in is like my dream house I would like to take with me everywhere. I never forget the kindness of the stuff."

"Great stay - clean tent, good food, fantastic staff, in the park so zebras on the doorstep! The only issues were that a) the bathrooms have no doors - which isnt good when you are 3 friends staying in 1 room - and there is a doorframe so goodness knows why there are no doors! And b) there was a grass fire which came very near the hotel and there was zero comminication about whether we were safe or not - simply saying "it will be fine" doesnt really do anything to reassure guests who arent used...

"The Malakai is essentially brand new, beautifully designed, tastefully decorated and kept in impeccable condition by the staff. I cannot say enough good things about the people that work there – led by Alex at the front desk and his team, they were very polite, overly attentive to all my needs and they provided superior service. Simply stated, there was nothing they could have done to make me more comfortable. In the evenings around dark, they secured my tent, and in the mornings, they opened...

"The staff went over and above to make this a unique experience. Our butler Ali was superb, Gideon who cleaned our room is out of this world. Folds your shirts and makes the bed twice a day. The young chef made meals that were consistently tasty. Rashid the Camp manager was a charm and excellent host. Highly recommend this place. "

"We stayed 2 nights and were treated like royalty. The staff were all nice and friendly and attentive to our every need. I would say here again and would recommend it to anyone. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. Loved the monkeys in the morning."

"Overpriced substandard facilities. Freezing cold bedroom. Ugly architecture, dark and dingy. Dirty dark and cold bathroom. Window stained with dead bugs and dust. No heaters to compensate. Very depressing. No hot water. We were forced to to ask them to boil water and put it into buckets in order to wash ourselves by using an empty margarine container. Unheard of when we have paid £900 to be in this tacky facility worthy of a YMCA student accommodation Location of the property is very bad....

"The location and setting is magnificent, but what made Pioneer so special is the wonderful service by all the staff working under the perfect oversight of Manager Simon. Our tent butler, Juma, was a special delight. The nightly dining under the stars was so special and the meals were excellent. We recommend it to anyone wanting a tented experience with great comfort and pampering."

"Estivemos no Kananga por 4 noites, eu minha esposa e meu filho de 6 anos. Amamos o local, fica em meio a savana e a noite é possível ouvir os animais. Nos sentimos muito seguros durante todo o tempo, a equipe é sensacional! A comida e sensacional e a todo momento eles tentam agradar, sempre se preocupavam com nosso filho inclusive nas caixinhas para almoço quando decidíamos almoçar no Safari. "This camp has given me mixed feelings, and I will share their st ong points as well as where they lack practicality. The camp, although seasonal for now, is wonderfully organized, well designed, hint of vintage British explorer era, but good quality furniture and linen. The staff was great, very attentive and sensible with our needs, woke up early to assist us in the time leading to our balloon safari, at 5 AM, and we're flexible with meal hours during our stay, we greatly appreciated everyone!...

"It’s top notch in every way within the constraints of being at the center of Serengeti. Comfortable bedding with big king beds, spacious bathrooms, wool blankets all added to the comfort level. Service was superb and the butler made the bed and put a hot water bag under the quilt before we returned from dinner. Given June/July nights can be quite cool in the Serengeti, this touch of consideration sets it apart. The lunch baskets the chef and staff prepared for the game drives were luxurious per my children. Kudos to the crew and owner and special thanks to our butler Paulo for the care he put in."

"A Dream Safari Experience in the Heart of the Serengeti Staying at Escarpment Serengeti was an absolutely surreal experience! This luxury camp immerses you right in the heart of the Serengeti, and sleeping in the beautifully appointed tents was both comfortable and luxurious. The location is unbeatable - we were even treated to the sound of a lion keeping us company for the first two nights! To top it all off, we had the incredible privilege of watching the wildebeest migration right from the lounge area on our last night followed by watching sunset with my tour guides & staff, which offers stunning views over the endless plains of the Serengeti. The staff truly made the stay special, they were incredibly helpful and attentive, making you feel like part of the family. One particularly memorable experience was when the housekeeping team arranged a special morning game drive just for me. Although it wasn’t safe to walk in the tall grass (I'd asked to go for a morning walk) they made sure I didn’t miss out on the wildlife. We encountered zebras, Thomson's gazelles, giraffes, and of course, the wildebeest migration. They even helped me capture the moment with a fun photo shoot, taking plenty of pictures and videos. It was such a thoughtful and accommodating gesture that made the experience even more unforgettable. I can’t recommend Escarpment Serengeti enough, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit! "

"Patrick the manager at Seronera was absolutely incredible. He took care of us during our entire stay and made us feel right at home. Though our time there was very short it was truly a treasured moment and looking forward to coming back with more friends and family in the future. The lodge is convenient located just a few minutes away from the airport which was perfect since we had an early flight the next day. "
