"Our stay was fantastic! Tammy was easy to communicate with, she responded within minutes! The house was perfect for our stay. We spent time riding around and exploring the area. From a local parade for the 4th to picking strawberries and hiking, there were things to do! But we really enjoyed time spent at the house, watching the sunset on the lake or the mist in the morning as it rises off the lake and covers the mountain on the other shore. The location is perfect!"

"If you’re looking for rustic and isolated, yet comfortable, this is the place! We stayed for two nights over 4th of July weekend and it was so relaxing. No other people around (you can hear ATVs nearby sometimes, but they can’t see into the camp), no cell service or internet, just nature. Just run the generator for a few minutes to get ice cold running water from the well. The cabin wasn’t too hot at night with the windows open and the battery powered fan running (a nice touch). We never even used the lights or power receptacles, but they are there if needed. It was very buggy outside as expected during a Maine summer, but we were able to explore the surrounding trails without getting eaten up too bad, with lots of bug spray of course. Our dogs had a blast running around, and it was a nice stress-free environment for our one dog who is very reactive to others dogs and people. Overall a great spot to unwind and get away from it all!"
