"This property is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are fantastic, they grow their own coffee, avocados and other gorgeous plants and flowers. The rooms are beautiful, big and the view of Mount Meru was outstanding. . However, what makes this hotel five stars is the hotel staff. They are amazingly kind, professional, courteous and ready to answer or help in any way needed. The breakfast buffet has a tremendous variety and was delicious. The coffee for the lattes was grown on site. Overall, a fantastic experience! Thank you Gran Melia staff! "

What really made the difference, though, was the staff. They are hands down some of the friendliest, most genuine people I’ve ever met.
