Churchill Hotel Bayeux Centre
10/10 Excellent
"We booked a privilege room. It had enough space and was very quiet - no external noise at all. Location is the best of any hotel in Bayeux. Right on the Main Street in the middle of all the restaurants, bars shops etc. all day tours depart from the street at the back of the hotel. It’s less than a 15 min walk to/from the train station. There are plenty of taxis. All staff were super friendly and helpful with restaurant and activity recommendations. Room was spacious enough, clean and quiet. Aircon and wifi both were excellent. Breakfast was ok. The front desk team were the highlight. So friendly, so helpful. We stayed for a week and didn’t run out of things to do. There so much much more the Bayeux than D-Day beaches. We loved Churchill Hotel and would definitely return."

"Breakfast is included, so all good there. I was on the top floor when the outside temps were in the low 30s. The room was adequate for me but would have been much better with aircon. For the price I paid, I have no complaints at all. No fridge or aircon but did include towels and tea / coffee making facilities. Perfectly good."

"Belle Normandy was a charming place to stay. We stayed in one of the houses directly across the street from the main hotel. It was wonderful to have ample space after staying in small hotel rooms just prior to our arrival in Bayeux. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I am ever in the area."

"This hotel was fantastic! The location is quiet, but still within walking distance of everything you could want or need. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the staff friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!"

"Our family of 4 (two teenage boys) really enjoyed our 2 days. We used the hotel as a base for touring WW2 battlefields and it was perfectly located. We had enough space in the suite for all 4 of us to sleep. We didn't use the space during the day as we were out touring. Good parking in the street. Thanks for the stay!"
