"We spent 2 weeks in August at Maria’s. Lovely apartments with beautiful surroundings and a gorgeous view. Apartments were basic but had everything we needed. There is a hairdryer (which isn’t mentioned in the description). Check in was easy, we had a late arrival and were advised in advance of our apartment number beforehand and access instructions. Housekeeping was daily and maids were very friendly. As mentioned previously, it is a steep hill up to the apartments but we found it walkable....

From viewing the pictures we were not expecting the Kitchenette, we were able to eat cooked breakfasts and dinners on the balconies and made our trips easier and lighter to focus on activities. The location is shown as within a block of the waterfront but the property is about 4 block away (the end of the town). Although it is only a short walk to the waterfront, the location as shown is misleading. Also, the fridge in our apartment (we stayed in Joy) would freeze everything, even though the temperature was on the warmest setting. We were asked to turn the fridge off and on to reset it...
