"Generous room with a direct door onto the courtyard which I liked. Room was clean although the building was showing some signs of age. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the small menu was all very tasty. Other good pubs in the village for a change of scenery but good beer and camaraderie in the Rose and Crown."

"It’s hard to find fault with this lovely b&b. Room was immaculate and comfortable with some lovely little touches. Our host was so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was substantial and delicious. We were able to both park on site and charge our car. Location was quiet and a 15 minute walk into the city with some lovely restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend- thank you for a lovely stay. "

"Very welcoming hosts. Stayed in a cabin in the garden of the property; very cosy, great super king size bed & huge shower. Plenty of tea/coffee/hot chocolate/biscuits that could be replenished daily. You could order breakfast at the same cost as ordering with the booking. Approx 25minute walk from the station down the crab & winkle way. Nice outdoor seating to have drinks/food at. Helpful to be able to leave our luggage at the accommodation on the last day. A great trip - definitely recommend!"

"Disappointing stay (Joss room) which was a shame as location was perfect for me. Shower was broken, was offered communal shower but on close inspection I decided not to use. Blind in room doesn’t close properly, lots of light coming in, very noisy fountain out front which you can still hear with windows closed. Very poor Wi-Fi. Pub itself was lovely, staff friendly, no food on Mondays though."

"We had the best weekend staying at the Doghouse. We honestly can’t fault Fe & Mel’s hospitality. The beds were super comfy, the room beautiful and spotlessly clean. "11 of us went to The Chapel for the weekend. Suzanne was incredibly welcoming, taking the time to show us around the property and give us an overview of its facinating history. She was extremely kind and accomodating to all our questions throughout the weekend. We had a small problem with one of the activities we had organised that didn't quite work out (that was not to do with the property) and Suzanne and George went out of their way to help us with an alternative to ensure that the weekend...
