The mountain in the distance is Montserrat, which translates to "serrated mountain" because of its spiky rock formations.

Oller del Mas is located in Manresa, a city an hour's drive outside of Barcelona. Trains run regularly, and take about an hour and a half to get there.

"The house was wonderful and provides a very private retreat from the busy streets of Barcelona. It was clean and everything worked as it should. The check in process was short, simple and the host explained how to work all the appliances in person. The property was a great retreat for the entire family. Wifi was good and fast, cell service is limited in this area. Great place!"

"Though this property is 45 minutes outside of Barcelona, I found it to be quite nice, quiet and perfect for my needs as a solo traveler. Just know that the taxi cost to get to Barcelona is going to be about 70 euro each way if you decide to go into Barcelona"
