"We had a wonderful stay at the Manoir. The setting is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views over the beach, while still having a lovely, warm and homely feel. Bridgette and her team were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The hospitality was fantastic, and nothing felt like too much trouble. Dinner was exceptional. We had the Chateaubriand, which was absolutely delicious and cooked beautifully. Breakfast was equally enjoyable, with a wide range of lovely French options to choose from. A truly special place with a beautiful setting, wonderful food and genuinely welcoming people. We would definitely love to return!"

"This beautiful property is a hidden gem on the outskirts of the scenic traditional fishing port of Honfluer. The location was fabulous, the scenery was stunning and the amenities within the hotel felt like a home. The breakfast offer was absolutely delicious, homemade and the attention to detail was acute. The property provides snacks, drinks & wine for the evenings to enjoy the relaxed quiet atmosphere. Perfection! The staff work tirelessly to ensure every aspect of the stay is highly pleasurable. The house had its own small private pool and the gardens were immaculately maintained. The gated access is also an addition to your comfort. I can, without reservation highly recommend this property for a traditional feel of local France, attention to detail, beautiful surroundings, immaculately presented and the amazing hosts who work there."

"The exterior of the hotel, and the grounds are absolutely stunning. Truly beautiful and unforgettable. There are no elevators. Our room was very quiet and the bed was comfortable, with an excellent bathroom - though the bedroom carpet was very worn - a minor issue, I know. Breakfasts were disappointing for the supplementary price they charge. I have had better breakfasts in cheaper chain hotels. They should either improve the quality or reduce the price. Dinner in the Capucine restaurant was truly excellent, apart from a rather disappointing dessert (we had the lowest price set menu -about 68 Euros). Service was good, and sitting outside on a summer evening was delightful. The swimming pool area is superb - a lovely pool, with plenty of sun loungers. The spa was a bit disappointing - the jacuzzi felt as if a lot of sand or grit was in the bottom of it. We did not have any paid spa sessions, so cannot comment. All in all, a lovely hotel which we enjoyed, but a few disappointments."

"Hotels.com said that reception closed at 20.00 but it closed at 19.00! Fortunately we arrived at the same time as some other late arrivals who phoned someone and found their room card under the outside ash tray....ours was there too. Unfortunately the details were incorrect so it took us ( and several friendly people) a long time to find our room. The whole site was almost empty and only just starting for the season. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. When we met the receptionist the following morning she was very apologetic. We feel that better information about the Adonis should be provided. "
