"The property was very near the GAP trail but we didn't realize how close until after we checked out and headed west. The condition of the old house was very good and we felt comfortable during our short overnight stay. We all agreed it was a good choice and would return to use it again, but probably not for an extended stay."

"This was a great property that fit our needs. We loved the house and may have to return under better circumstances instead of a funeral. The host was gracious enough to allow us to have the 2 dogs of which we were very thankful for. Even though there was no air conditioning, there were plenty of fans throughput the house. That deck was also very pleasant to sit on with those great tall trees for shade"

"We loved everything. The layout is spacious for kids to run around but not underfoot. Very comfortable beds. Beautifully decorated. Kitchen /bathrooms fully stocked. One drawback, its a little dim. Tons of small lighting fixtures but need at least one overhead light somewhere in the main living area. We will be returning...multiple times. It's really a gem. ligu.....ihting fixtures but needs more light. "

"My best friend and I, for the last couple of year's get away for a long weekend twice a year. This was the best so far. The property is clean and the décor is so charming with a homie touch. We checked out many of the attractions of Bedford & surrounding areas. The lake at Shawnee National Park was very enjoyable. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners, who were so nice & graciously shared the history of the property and some of the contents. I look forward to staying there again and...

It was a perfect place to retreat after long nights of working and one of the few places in Bedford with a hot tub! The house was beautiful inside and out, meticulously maintained.
