Archie's Lake Daze Cottage

Soak up the beautiful lake views from a rocker on the porch or the 2 person hammock between the pine trees. This cozy cottage has 3 BR and 2 Baths and a stocked kitchen to make you feel right at home. Enjoy fishing from your private dock or take a spin in the paddle boat or kayaks provided. After a long day on the lake, you can enjoy a game of pool, classic arcade games, darts, or board games. WiFi is provided as well as 3 smart TVs. There is plenty of parking for your vehicles and water toys.
The space
This beautiful and simple cozy cottage is on the private Church Branch Lake Division of Lake Marion. Take in the lake scene from the dock at dusk and get up in the morning to a beautiful misty lake and a cup of coffee. Fayz on the Lake restaurant and Dollar General are within walking distance from the cottage. Boat on our smaller private lake, or on the large lake Marion, your choice, both landings are within 2 minutes, unfortunately, the two lakes do not connect by water.

Boys Fishing Trip

The men of the family had a blast at this cottage! They spent the days kayaking and laying in the hammock and spent the nights making smores and playing pool! They even caught a few fish, in March!

This place was beautiful! Such a peaceful neighborhood, beautiful decor! Tons of kitchen utensils and accessories. Beds were comfortable and rooms were quite adorable! The view is honestly amazing and just breathtaking. Definitely the place to stay if you’re really wanting to unwind and relax 😊

Short getaway

We had a fabulous time. Cottage was perfectly quiet. A little disappointed that the fireplace was not working but heat was not an issue. We just wanted it for the ambiance. Also the description said hot tub. Since the pics did not show a hot tub, I assumed there was a spa tub. This did not ruin our time spent. We loved it and will be back!

Archie's Lake Daze Cottage is a wonderful place to stay, and Lisa is a fantastic host.

Little piece of heaven, the cottage is very clean and everything you will need is provided, all you need is your food. The view from the back porch is fantastic and the neighborhood is very quiet, planning on making this a yearly stop when coming down fishing. Thanks Lisa for sharing Archie's place with us.

Wonderful getaway

This place is amazing, always something to do. Great place to spend a week or long weekend. The kids loved it, never bored, and even some firsts for them. If you're looking for a quiet retreat on the lake, you couldn't find a better spot. Host even arranged return of an expensive charger I left.

Very nice cottage on the lake

Beautiful cottage on the lake. Very clean and comfortable. Since we were visiting at a hot time of year (mid August) we spent a good amount of time in the rocking chairs on the porch facing the lake. So relaxing. We used the kayaks once and the lake was very peaceful. We would definitely stay here again and/or recommend to friends and family. My husbands only wish is that there was a fishing pole available.

4 day trip

This was truly our best trip yet. We go to the lake every year after school gets out to reset because we are both teachers. Archies cottage was truly perfect. It had everything we could have possibly needed. The cottage was so clean and check in was a breeze. We loved the pool table and darts…we had lots of fun hanging out in the evening playing games and chilling on the dock. During the day the fishing was great and we went swimming and floated on our raft for hours. We will be returning as soon as we can!!

Archie's Lake House - Manning/Santee, SC

This is a GREAT property! The space is awesome (well maintained with everything you need to for a great time) and you can tell the owners try very hard to anticipate what visitors may want or need. Great for adventure, shenanigans or relaxing. Beautiful views, very quiet, fairly private, well-equipped/maintained, and great communication. Do a lot or a little! ;-) Thanks!
