Parking was easy, staff super friendly, restaurant was amazing and definitely underrated! Location was also good, close to the two truffle experience places we came here for.. Unfortunately we had terrible neighboring guests loud and kids banging on the walls and doors, blasting music and screaming for over an hour late night, but it wasn’t the accommodation’s fault…

I booked my room at 11.48am and recieved my receipt but no further communication regarding the booking. I arrived at 3.30 expecting reception to be open as check in was from 2pm only to find the opening hours on the door (8am-5pm) had been covered with stickers amending them to 9am-3pm and an after hours number to call. There was also a note saying the restaurant (which I had planned on using) was closed for the week. I phoned the after hours number and was told she didn’t know why I hadn’t been contacted by reception but I needed to pay a $100 bond for the room. As this is standard in most places I gave her my card details. She then proceeded to tell me she needed an additional $185 for incidentals incase I used anything in the room which would be refunded once I left. I got the key and then went to the room. I was mortified to find there was no way to lock the door from the inside and the adjoining room was also accessible by a door with no lock. As a single female traveler I found this extremely unsafe. The room itself wasn’t clean, there was something spilt on the floor that hadn’t been cleaned up and there was a dead bug stuck to the bedding. To their credit the after hours personnel did agree to cancel the booking and to contact reception the following day to get a refund due to the circumstances. The motel itself was nothing like the photos on the website indicated and was very run down.

we found the facilities well maintained and clean. everything needed apart from 1 spoon. the staff were great - the restaurant extremely helpful and the food was fantastic. could not fault our stay of 2 days at all. thanks

A couple of minor things our room wasn't cleaned although clean towels were left. Admittedly the lady attempted to clean the room but we weren't quite ready . We were only there two nights so we were ok. The toaster was faulty.

It’s okay for a Motel, clean and tidy (had booked a deluxe room). Cutlery and a couple of plates are in a draw which we only noticed when we left. One more thing that would be nice to have would be a microwave which the room was lacking.

The room is a donga style. However the King single bed and linen makes for a perfect sleep. The bathroom is renovated and a bar fridge and wardrobe space is provided. Unfortunately i was woken at 10:30 by young blocked talking and laughing loudly. Some people have no thought for people who have to get sleep. The restaurant is very good. Staff Are very erlcomng and pleasant. Good value for money.

Check in was difficult no staff at reception at 2.20 pm phoned mobile but could not find booking than transferred to another person needed to quote intinery no than give my credit card details over phone along with my car rego & my drivers lic no. This took over 30 mins which giving this amount of information I felt is way beyond for a one night stay in a motel

Friendly reception.

Allowed us to park our motorbikes under cover during rain. Comfy and clean room. Spacious bathroom. Restaurant wasn’t open on the night we were there, which was a shame as eateries are not walkable distance and we had to ride out in the rain to get a meal. Just our bad luck as to timing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kingsley, rooms were very well presented and comfortable. Just a two night stay. Very much enjoyed dinner on the first night, but unfortunately restaurant closed on Saturday evening. Surprising as it was a long weekend. Otherwise faultless.
