Three bedroom, two bathroom apartment in the popular complex of Marina de la Duquesa. The apartment is fully air conditioned and has a sunny southwest facing terrace with glass curtains making it possible to enjoy the terrace all year around. The terrace is furnished with sofas, table and chairs. There is also an underground parking space included. The apartment does have a wifi connection however this is offered on a pay as you go basis which can be organised at the complex on arrival.

Located on the beachfront, the complex has four swimming pools, a small gym, padel tennis courts, underground parking, 24 hour security and is just a short stroll to the marina.

A home from home

Had everything we needed, can’t really grumble about much at all. Kitchen had everything we required. Clean, homely, nice balcony, perfect for our weeks holiday. Near everything. Took us a while to figure out how to use the air con so instructions might be helpful. Another set of keys would have been great. A guide to where pools were. Maybe a suggestion of ear plugs as we were near the main dual carriage way and was quite noisy in the morning.

Location

We loved the location and the glassed in balcony was very handy during the rainy days we had this year. The traffic can be a little noisy but its quiet later at night. Nice view for morning coffee. My only real beef was the pharmacy light that is bright and very active flashing and spinning . It was left on after the pharmacy was closed . I took a video and showed the owner of the pharmacy. The last two night we there the light was turned off when the store closed. The owner had said he was getting someone to look at it so hopefully it’s all fixed. The only other complaint I had was that the toaster is very small for a three bedroom apartment where a family could be staying. Maybe a four slice toaster would help. A small inconvenience and only my suggestion.

Information

The apartment is well situated, well equipped and nicely presented. More information please. There were no instructions in the apartment at all. Wanted more direction re rubbish disposal, air con, access via different doors, garage. Directions to correct car park would also be useful it was all very confusing as no numbers outside the garage. We had a great time but spent the first couple of days trying to find our way in and out of the building/garage. It would be really be helpful to have some clear written information.
