"Wir haben für eine Woche die Villa San Gerardo für unser jährliches Familientreffen gemietet. Es war eine wunderbare Zeit für alle, egal welchen Alters. Es erwartete uns ein großes Grundstück mit sehr schöner Poolanlage. Das Haus hat seinen historischen Charme, die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet, alles macht einen sehr sauberen Eindruck. "Laura is an amazing hostess and her meals are not to be missed. Spectacular birds of Etna from the fields on the property. Peacefully isolated yet convenient enough to Catania and Siracusa. We will be back. "

"What an incredible place! Situated just beneath the city of Paterno but in the beautiful and quiet country you have an amazing view of the Etna. The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean.The food is just delicious (try the pesce spada) and Signora Maria is the kind soul of the place. I will return!"

"The house is located in a very beautiful and quiet area surrounded by lemon plantations and small mountains. The pool area is really nice with a wooden terrace and shaded areas - but is a bit too small if there are three families at the same time. But we almost didn't get to experience that. There is only one room in the house with an open upper floor, which got very hot at night because there is only AC in the lower room. We got a fan though and that helped a bit. The kitchen is a bit scratchy...

"It’s a beautiful small property with a very cool design. Fairly rustic though and with a bit of a farmhouse feel and therefore maybe not for everyone. Managers and owners Giacomo and Paola are both fantastic. Giacomo in particular was a superstar, passionately speaking about the wines of the winery and the region, giving us great restaurant recommendations and really going above and beyond with a smile. "

"When we booked the property, our priority was firstly a pool so that our six year old daughter could further her swimming progress. Secondly we wanted to be central so we could visit Naxos, Mt Etna and Palermo. The property is central but sadly upon arrival, we were greeted to the sight of the very friendly female caretaker washing the dirty terrace and a very grumpy male caretaker fishing insects out of the pool which was filthy. "Si tratta di un bell'agriturismo immerso completamente nel silenzio di un bosco e con una meravigliosa vista sulla vallata, l’accoglienza è stata impeccabile, le camere pulite e molto comode, ottimo punto d’appoggio per potersi spostare nei vari paesi vicini è molto caratteristici. È la prima volta che soggiornavo da loro e sicuramente non mancherò di tornarci un'altra volta. Super consigliato."
