"Horrible, horrible... The property is not at all in condition to stay. There were cockroaches in the bathroom and all the toilet accessories were worn out. The linen did not looked clean and there were stains on the pillow covers and quilt cover. It seems the owner has abandoned the property. The only good part was the staff that were trying to do their best. Expedia should not even list this property."

As it was my first time to bali i was unsure of where to go and what to do. Balik drove me on his scooter almost everyday for free, although this may not always be the case. They also remt scooters. There was a perfect little shala that I utilized for an online yoga class in the morning and it created for a magical class. Would absolutely stay here again & highly recommend. "We came here after a horrible experience on the west side of the island. The staff was super friendly here. Pros: sunset views, pool, affordable laundry service, breakfast was ok, staff was very helpful and kind Cons: air conditioning couldn’t keep up, there was a RANK smell like sewage coming from the shower (I think the stones in the shower don’t ever get cleaned and the water runs off pretty slow). We had to keep the light/vent going on all night to keep the smell away."

"We had a phenomenal stay at the Royal Kamuela Villas & Suites! We got the villa with the private pool, and it perfect to come back to after a long day, or to just stay in the room and relax. There is also a very tasty breakfast included, and room service is extremely easy if you don’t feel like going anywhere. I highly recommend using them for airport transfers, we were greeted with water and a cold towel which was perfect after we got into DPS at 2am. The staff is so kind and attentive; they always asked us how our day was and made sure we promptly got anything we needed. They even reached out before we arrived to help us schedule activities and spa treatments! Location wise the hotel is a bit hidden, but off a busy and touristy area in Ubud. We were able to easily walk to both the Ubud Palace and the Campuhan Ridge Walk. There are a lot of restaurants and shops nearby to visit as well. It’s also a prime spot for any tours that you may book. Thank you to the Royal Kamuela team for such an amazing experience in Bali! "
