"Amazing staff"

"Our room was a corner room with an excellent view. Floor 2C, room 272."

"Excellent location, nice, clean and quiet room with BBC news available on TV and a hot pot in the room for making tea. Comfortable beds and clean bathroom with excellent shower. Hotel staff are polite but some at the front desk seem more competent than others (the person who checked us in forgot to share any of the hotel’s amenities with us, including info about the breakfast buffet and fitness areas). Very good breakfast buffet included with extremely helpful and friendly serving staff. Nice fitness room with limited equipment (but both regular water and sparkling water on tap), a dry sauna and a steam room with clean locker and showers that were so lightly used that no one else was there when we used them. Most staying there were in Bergen on business or attending the nearby international music festival—despite being told we would hear the music the rooms were quiet and we never heard a thing. Would definitely stay here again."

"There were three of us staying in the room for a night. I was happy with it although my fellow travellers made some complaints about how basic the room was. Maybe they were affected by the luxury of the room in the hotel we had checked out from Oslo the previous day. Personally, I think the room offers all basic necessities for the traveller, a comfy bed and is well situated close to the heart of Bergen. Breakfast was just ok; both g to wrote home about. Overall. I would return on a potential subsequent visit. Ps. Photo is of beautiful Bergen, approximately a kilometre away from the hotel. "
