"Laura, Pedro, Exo and the entire Baja Canoas staff made our 2 week stay at the hotel celebrating both my honeymoon and birthday amazing! The service they provided to make us feel special was phenomenal. If you are looking for a quiet place to disconnect this is it. My only two critiques are that it would be great if the hotel offered a on hand shuttle service/on site driver for when guests wanted to go into town. Getting to neighboring towns for shopping on or nightlife can be a bit difficult....

"The pool looked like a swamp for my entire stay, she told us it was clean but there were days and days where you could see the mosquito eggs floating on the top, dead bugs and plant matter, you couldn’t even see the bottom. "Very comfortable beds, clean. I have no complaints, poor wifi and breakfast was weak but we had no problem with it. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and nice balcony, very friendly helpful staff. There is a restaurant just beside the hotel,El Mirado, to the left if you have your back to the ocean which is worth checking out, have to walk up a hill, well worth the walk. Not a lot of stir, bring a book."

"This is for those of you with insight. This hotel is expensive when compared to other hotels in the area. From the pictures you expect a nice place, but think again. The hotel is old, the mattresses are as stiff as a rock, everything is from the 80s, and not taken care of. The place was dirty, the food was expensive and not that great, the service was abhorrent. We came to this hotel for our 5 year anniversary and they make you sign in blood for an extra towel. Not the type of hotel you...
