"This property and new subdivision of Mauna Kea properties is outstanding. Our house was immaculate and perfect for us. We never make use of community amenity center but we absolutely loved the pool and water slide here. Plunge pool and hot tub at the house got much use as well. We had everything that we needed to make family meals. House came equipped with most everything you may need for beach lounging. This house was a great find - will stay here again for certain!"

Cemille and Derrick are amazing hosts who are available for whatever you need and truly fantastic people who love the beauty of this area. If you are looking for a place to stay that is quiet, secluded and an authentic Hawaii experience this is your place! The house itself is great for a good size family, we had 7 people and it was plenty of room. The outside shower was by far my favorite, an absolutely amazing way to start your day! Just a magical place. If you want a resort experience this is not the place for you, but if you want raw beauty and amazing accommodations this is the perfect place!"

"Kim and James’s cottage was the perfect home base for exploring Big Island’s trails and beaches. Waking up to breakfast with an ocean view and the Pacific breeze was a highlight. The place was spotless, nearly insect-free, and stayed cool enough without AC. It’s ideal for two or three people. The kitchen is simple but has everything you need to cook your own meals, and there are plenty of nearby spots with great local food. James welcomed us personally and was always ready to help, which made us feel truly cared for. Kim’s artwork in the house adds a lovely personal touch. Thank you both for sharing your beautiful place."

"This lovely home exceeded our expectations. We've been traveling to the Big Island since 1984 and this was our favorite stay. Comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated with gorgeous views. We enjoyed breakfast on the lanai and preparing meals in the roomy, well stocked kitchen. Access to the Mauna Kea Resort and the on-site pool was frosting on the cake! Donna is a pleasure to work with and answered our questions promptly & kindly. Already looking forward to our next visit!"
