"Great cabin for a short summer vacation in Mammoth Cave. Very easy check in, check out process. One of the cleanest vrbo we had stayed in. Very comfortable and nicely decorared. Keep in mind, driving to the park visitor center is about 40 minutes. That is where all cave tours start. We really enjoyed biking and hiking in the park as well. Also, keep in mind that Nolin lake park is closed due to flood damage. I didnt realized it and was kind of dissapointed that we couldnt use their beach area and hiking trails. Overall it was a great stay. Recommended."

"We had a great stay in the Big Leaf cabin! My husband loves to play disc golf and he had a great time exploring the course at Hickory Hills. The owner is very helpful and responsive. The cabin was a perfect for our family of 6."

"This was glamping at its best! Yes, of course the (very well-appointed) bathroom is outside of the property …otherwise it would be listed as a cabin.:-P And yes, it’s unfortunate the ferry is currently closed, but that’s hardly the property owners’ fault—we enjoyed a pleasant, scenic drive to the Mammoth Cave Visitor’s Center each morning. But for these small inconveniences, we were treated with visits from a chicken, dinners cooked over the fire (including complementary s'mores) and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We recommend this property to all potential glampers! "

"Our stay at the Hidden hideaway was fantastic! We were two families, with a total of 9 people and we all had plenty of space! The kids loved the bunk bed room and the "kids space" upstairs. The grown-ups loved the outside space and the wonderful views. The kitchen had everything I needed to bake yummy breakfasts each day. We made watermelon sorbet too, yay blenders! Hidden Hideaway is a fantastic place to chill, slow down a bit, and enjoy time with friends and family. The views from the lake were incredible. Great spot for exploring Mammoth Cave. Check to see if the ferry is running, it was damaged during flooding in early spring 2025. We did our research and it was not a problem for us! We loved our time here and look forward to returning.
