The hotel required us to pay a security deposit in cash as a condition of our stay. When checking out, we specifically requested that the room be inspected before our departure so that any concerns could be addressed immediately and the deposit could be refunded fairly, as we were leaving for the airport. "Oyo is a good place to stay in the heart of Times Square if you don’t want to spend a fortune. It’s especially good for a single traveler just coming for Broadway shows. The rooms are very tiny (but good for one). The only complaint is the mattress-it feels like a sleeper sofa (a hideaway bed that is thin and noisy.) Otherwise it’s fine if all you need is a place to sleep and shower. I would stay here again."
