"Le Pigeonnier was perfect for our purpose: relaxation in a beautiful rural setting. Surrounded by vineyards and a floral garden, the pool is a highlight. This property is clean and well maintained. "This house is quirky and ideal for a stay in a village. It is close to all the amenities of Cannes and is quiet and perfectly placed for walk to the village centre and also strolls through the wineyards. Highly recommended as an excellent, well equippped house."

"Het huis is ruim. De bedden zijn fijn. Er zijn voldoende badkamers. Twee badkamers zijn klein, maar verder prima. De keuken is goed voorzien. De tuin is heerlijk, met genoeg mogelijkheden om te zitten en dingen te doen voor de kinderen. Het zwembad is niet groot, maar goed genoeg voor de kinderen. Enige nadeel was dat er veel muggen waren. Hierdoor konden we 's-avonds alleen buiten zitten met een lange broek en lange mouwen. Ook binnen hadden we last van muggen. Het is nodig om onder een klamboe...

"La maison a de beaux volumes, très bien située dans un petit village au calme. Belle piscine bien entretenue. Mais il n’y a qu’un petit drap de bain prévu par personne pour tout votre séjour ( nous sommes restés 2 semaines.) Ce n’est vraiment pas assez, comment on fait avec la piscine et la douche ? Pas de coussin de chaises le long de la piscine, comment on fait avec ces petites serviettes pour ne pas se brûler contre le plastique des chaises? Il y a un éclairage au pourtour et dans la piscine...

"Nice house, well equipped, very clean and with a large veranda and lovely pool. The children loved Sylvie's pets. Sylvie herself was always on hand to help out with various difficulties, - we needed a garage, for instance and she suggested a local firm. The countryside around Routier is gentle hills with the Pyrenees in the distance. There is lots to do and see and we would have happily stayed for another week had this been possible."

"Very enjoyable house 15 minutes away from Carcassonne. As described plus there was a high chair which was needed for us. There is a quiet public playground right around the corner."

"We stayed one night. In 350 meters you can be in the medieval city. Travel 50 meters down the hill, turn on the path and you are there. Such a perfect location. Paul was great and easy to communicate with. We had a lovely dinner at the Sarl le Creneau and saw Remparts et Lumieres at night. We had a wonderful day exploring the village during the day. We would definitely come back and stay again."

"An absolute gem. The Villa is very well appointed with custom finishes and furniture made by the hosts (their profession). It’s private, safe and a stone’s throw from the market for easy food shopping and all the necessities provided for home cooking. We stayed a week and did day trips in all directions. Coming home to the refreshing pool was a cherry on top. Anne and her family, including their very friendly dog, were welcoming and delightful. This is a special place and gets 5 stars on all...

"The property is typical french quirky and generally enjoyable - since the house is 17th century we can forgive the dim lights and basic electrics. The sewage issue (day 2) was sorted very quickly - this can happen anytime and communications with the manager were very quick. The excellent Comptoir restaurant next door (book ahead) is a real bonus and the boulangerie and convenience store were great too. Villegly is outside Carcassonne but well positioned to explore the area. Our main concerns...

"Sehr schön, Unterkunft gut, alles schnell und unkompliziert erreichbar. Service sehr freundlich und kompetent. Bin nun das dritte mal hier und immer begeistert. Hunde willkommen und die Umgebung sehr gut geeignet für Ausflüge oder einfach zur Erholung. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gut erreichbar. Für mich war alles perfekt."

"The only negatives I have for this property are that the hot water went away very quickly, there was no stopper for the bathtub, and the automatic lights were hard to turn on in the morning out in the hallway. It’s walkable distance to cite de carcassonne, but it is on the far end of town, pretty far away from the train station. It took me about 45 minutes in the rain. "

"The persons at the reception were very nice and helpful . The apartment we had was on the ground overlooking nature (with trails).well equipped: stove, diswasher, microwave, refrigerator At this timeof the year not too many people, so it was quiet. The snack bar was not open (only summer ) but we had excellent recommendations for restaurants near by. I understood that it is a place for families and long stay in the summer: beautiful lake, swimming, trails …,"
