"Breakfast was excellent but room had buckled carpet, tons of dust amd rusted tub. I had to stay because all hotels were booked and I was at a conference. But never agai. "

"During my stay the staff was so awesome, professional and helpful. The hotel does need to be updated as it is very dated. We ate at the restaurant and the staff was so friendly and the food was delicious. Was on a business trip so I wasn’t able to spend my coins at the casino. Also I appreciate this property being nonsmoking as I had walked to the other hotel next door and the smell of smoke was prevalent. Overall I will be staying here again."

"The best rate was higher than I think it should be. My reservation request was being called in late in the afternoon so it seemed it should be less. Their sister hotel a mile away was suggested for a lower rate but I wasn’t thrilled with the photos. I decided to try Hotels.com and I should’ve known — $35 less for the same room. The elevator was scary, making really unusual sounds. The tv offerings were awful. Satellite? The night desk clerk at check in was fabulous, very polite and friendly. The bed, particularly pillows, was out of this world. Liked the bathroom toiletries. The convenience to the Ochsner LSU Hospital could not be beat. Breakfast was decent, not thrilling. "
