"As we drove in I became nervous due to the area (first time in Faro and it was dark) but was quickly relieved and felt safe and at home when greeted by the manager who helped us carry all our luggage in and get us settled. It had a fantastic homely feel to it, our rooms were cleaned daily and the location is brilliant I came to learn! The owners are also very kind people which reflects on their business. We also stayed with our dog who was very welcome. Thank you for the lovely hospitality!"

"Very nice location and friendly staff. Rooms are were well appointed. The hotel is within walking distance to ref shops, restaurants, and the marina. The restaurant at the hotel was very good. We booked two rooms and the second room was not ready at check in time. Staff was very apologetic and offered a few free drinks for the inconvenience. The AC in the hotel had gone out shortly before we checked in so the rooms were hot. It took several hours after it was fixed for the rooms to cool down. Despite the minor issues, we would love to return when we can spend a few more days and enjoy the area. "

"Absolutely beautiful. Well worth getting out of the super touristy areas for piece and quiet. It closely resembles Ojai Valley Inn in California, but far more affordable. Fantastic for kids where you can let them roam without fretting. This hotel isn’t close to anything but what you get in exchange is peace and relaxation. We stayed at the Conrad 15km away and preferred the Viceroy."
