So quiet, 1km from coast, very accessible, safe, clean, comfortable, just gorgeous! "The location is outstanding with expansive views to the beautiful beach/harbor. The hotel is in an interesting historical district. We had dinner at the hotel to take advantage of the setting. The food and service was first class, easily the best dinner we had during our two weeks in Portugal. All of the staff were gracious and helpful. The rooms were nicely finished in period decor. "
