"We were assigned a room that was at the furthest end of the property which meant lugging our bags down the longest hallway I've ever seen. A staff member said the property stretches a mile & a half end to end. Not ideal when we were only there one night in order to catch a flight early in the morning. Otherwise, it was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was polite."

"It was a perfect stay made special by the Hilton staff, we were celebrating a very special day for my lady and I and upon arrival we were treated with love and compassion. From the friendly checkin team to the knowledgeable concierge. I appreciate the great lengths they went to to make us feel comfortable. We used the gym everyday which was everything we needed. Had an opportunity to have breakfast at their restaurant downstairs, and most places we visited are walkable (:"

"A destination hotel sitting above Varese with gardens overlooking Lake Varese below. We were warmly greeted at reception and having arrived in the evening after a flight and drive, we chose to eat in the restaurant. Good move - the food was very good but surpassed by our waiter's enthusiasm to make crepe suzette at our table, which was excellent and thoroughly entertaining. We stayed in May, so the pool was closed and left before exploring the area but glad we stayed here - charming, historic and whilst there are areas that require a little TLC, it adds to the character. Rooms were comfortable, well equipped and a nice bathroom."

"I was not satisfied with my stay. I landed at 11 PM and wanted to take the hotel shuttle, but when I tried calling the hotel’s phone number — the same number advertised everywhere — nobody answered. I ended up wasting an entire hour before finally taking an expensive taxi to the hotel. After I got to my room, I discovered there was no air conditioning and no way to open the window. The staff eventually sent someone to open the window for me. The receptionist later showed me that the hotel phone was not ringing at all, which made the whole situation even more frustrating."
