"The apt is on the 20th floor. It has amazing views and it is in the middle of all the action. Some of the issues is that it is a very old apt. It is clear that it is an investment property. There are no perks to the apt. The gym in the building is dated. Most of the fitness machines don't work. The owner keeps control of the ac/heater unit. "A hundred steps from the Plata Beach, 500 steps from the ocean beach; we took a beautiful walk to the lighthouse and church, photographed sea lions and seals within arm’s reach being fed scraps at the fish stand, passing through streets with elegant shops and a variety of restaurants. Off season was very quiet. Our hostess easily and quickly communicated with us before and during our stay."

"These are more like apartments than a hotel. There's no reception or services, but the host is very available and quickly responded to all of our requests. The location is excellent, walking distance to the beach and the unit was tastefully decorated and fully equipped (well above average - we couldn't think of anything it didn't have). The backyard is amazing, with a pond, a barbecue area and a vegetable garden. This is ideal for a couple or family of three that plans to cook, invite friends...
