The country house with the romantic flair stands in the middle of an old olive grove. Upon arrival, the visitor can expect an overwhelming view of the lake and an incomparable scent of Mediterranean herbs. The place is perceived by the guests as a "place of strength", as an ideal retreat, as an island of tranquility.

The house - built on a rock more than 100 years ago - was originally a small farm, a so-called Rustiko. The old building was subtly added and carefully converted into a residential tower. 

During the conversion, particular care was taken to preserve the character and charm of the house. This approach is evident in both the shape and the materials of the cultivation, which speaks a clear contemporary language with stone, glass and metal. A glass front connects the old with the new structure and floods the house with sun and light.

The changing seasons and the strong presence of the landscape determine the atmosphere of the interiors.  The view from the window falls on the old olive trees with their gnarled trunks; they are ambassadors of the south and the epitome of Mediterranean flair. The filigree, elegantly curved branches give the olive tree a calm, harmonious elegance. The silvery leaves unfold at any time of the day a delightfully shimmering play of light and color. The contrast is the deep blue lake and the silhouette of the mountains opposite.

The rooms are distributed on three levels. The kitchen is accessible from two sides, both doors lead out into the garden. On the terrace in front you can enjoy the homemade spaghetti or the grilled fish in the shade of the grapevine.

A stone staircase leads from the outside into the fireplace room, which is equipped with a comfortable sofa bed. The floor with the old terracotta tiles conveys coziness.

A wooden staircase leads to the two upper bedrooms. The decor is of high quality and consciously designed reduced.

The actual living room is the garden. Over 5000 square meters of land with olive trees, two terraces, a large barbecue area and a herb garden are available for sole use. The scent of the herbs - including the many wild herbs - is beguiling, the change of seasons impressive. Plant lovers will be thrilled. Also because everything thrives without the use of chemical means. The terrain invites you to explore fluff oaks, wigs, lavender tuffs, oleander and agave, to meditate, to read, to look, to wonder and to enjoy.

Adjacent to the olive grove is a 15-meter-long slender infinity pool, which emphasizes the incomparable panorama due to its directness to the lake and the town of Malcesine. Swimming in the pool makes you feel like you can swim out into the lake. The lining with silver quartzite plates produces surprising light effects depending on the sunlight. In addition, the formation of algae is delayed, so that can be dispensed with a treatment with chlorine. The cleaning is done by the supply of oxygen, so the water feels so soft.

The pool is also used by the landlords who live in the adjoining pool house in between, if they provide for the care of the entire area - that is a total of over 20 000 square meters. The landlords are also happy to be available as contact persons.

A few minutes by car from the house is the middle station of the Monte Baldo cable car with the famous rotary gondola, which flies quickly and elegantly to the summit. From here you can save yourself the usual waiting times at the valley station. The whole mountain range is widely known for its varied fauna and flora, but also for its magnificent cycling and hiking trails.

As soon as you get to the lake, the old paths descend to the lake, making it easier and faster to reach the scenic "via Panoramica" - bella vista e buon arrivo!
