"Really enjoyed visiting Malaga, it was my first time here and I loved it. I booked a cathedral view room at this hotel and it was stunning. The rooftop bar was a lovely place to relax and the breakfast was delicious.
However, I had a bottle of perfume taken from the room by the cleaner (it was a travel-sized bottle, which was filled to the top with perfume so couldn’t be mistaken for rubbish), which was really disappointing.
I spoke to reception about it and I felt the response wasn’t great. They rang the cleaning team to ask if it had been taken, which no one admitted to, and then said sorry. I felt they could have offered something such as a drinks voucher as a way of apology, so to me, the customer service in this situation was lacking.
It’s a shame because the hotel is beautiful, but it’s the first time I’ve had something taken from a hotel room so I’d be reluctant to stay here again."
