"For me, this is a great location: a few minutes walk to the beach, and there is a nice supermarket (SPAR) almost on the property, and a couple more 5 and 10 minutes away walking distance (a bigger SPAR and a Hipodino). There are a lot of little shops that sell everything, a pharmacy, and plenty of restaurants. Although there will always be a few noisy people here and there no matter where you go, I've been to Bahia Calma Beach three times now, and I've never had a problem with noise, and in general it's very peaceful. And the staff is always very friendly and helpful! "

"There were cockroaches in the outside snack bar restaurant that was ugly to see. Getting to your room was a hassle as there were no lifts and loads of stairs."

"We liked the size of the hotel and room, the overall cleanliness, the pools were nice and clean too, beach access was handy, courtesy room facility, friendly and polyglot staff. We'd have preferred more fresh fruit and fresh homemade juices for breakfast. The partial sea view was nice apart from the derelict area adjacent the property that our room was facing."

At the time of our visited the gym and sauna were under construction. In my opinion the safety railings should be much higher than where they currently are at waist level"

"Myself and partner had a wonderful stay and can't really complain about anything, the rooms are basic but spacious (bedroom, living room and bathroom) clean with a well maintained. The food choice was excellent, fresh and with plenty of variety. The hotel is just a short walk to the beach, and plenty of shops bars and restaurants.. although Costa Calma is more on the quite side, there are still plenty of activities around to do and see. "
