Spacious Hawaiian Suite for a Romatic Getaway in the Upcountry of Maui!
This Hawaiian plantation style suite is one of our largest and most spacious. It is very relaxing and romantic, especially in the evening when stars can be seen. This suite was named Hoku, meaning star in Hawaiian. You will find all sorts of star gazing tools in this room to explore and cozy up on the lanai at night. The Hoku suite has the largest lanai of all our suites including a private yard equipped with patio dining furniture, a two person hammock, lounge chairs and a fire pit seating area. If you like to have your coffee outside, curl up and read a book on a hammock, gaze at the stars or just get some sun, this is the suite for you! Its spa-like bathroom continues the romantic feel and is ideal for those wanting to pamper after a long day of hiking! The king size bed that looks out to a private garden view is sure to be relaxing. There is a comfy seating area and a kitchenette equipped with bar countertop seating. The kitchenette is supplied with a coffee machine, microwave, refrigerator and all the utensils you will need. This suite is perfect for honeymooners and couples who like outdoor spaces, extra room, and privacy. This room can also be adjoined with the Pele suite if traveling with a group or family.

This B&B is so peaceful and romantic. It is perfectly tucked up in the mountain giving it an amazing view all around. The interior was clean and the welcome basket was a nice touch! The grounds are well kept as well. The food is absolutely amazing, I would strongly recommend attending breakfast every morning!! The hosts are so kind and accommodating and are happy to share the best local attractions.
We were a little disappointed that the private firepit outside our suite was not functional, as it was one of the main reasons we picked the pricier Hoku Suite. I would also recommend that the owners add full-length mirrors to the rooms. But aside from those couple of minor things, this place is the perfect getaway spot for anyone looking to truly unwind!

A beautiful BnB! From the hosts, to the breakfast, to the lovely set up they have created. A perfect way to end or honeymoon with beautiful scenery every morning, and amazing stars to gaze upon. 10/10 recommending to everyone!

Nice place. Great people - very attentive and very sharing of their knowledge of the island. Room is outstanding. Be sure you want an up country spot which is rural. If you do, this is an excellent choice. Very quiet, very authentically modern Hawaii. Excellent restaurants are within a few minutes. Unquestionably five stars.

Simply put, if the Four Seasons had B & B's, this would be one of them. If you are looking for peace and tranquility, the North Shore Lookout is your place. Spent 5 days with Shannan and Josh, and couldn't have asked for more. These folks are the consummate professionals, and the views from the edge of the Makawao Forest overlooking the city lights and the ocean are second to none. All I can say is, book early. This is about to become very popular. . . .
