"Booked 2 nights at Hotel Central Beach 9, Makarska mainly based on the location and sea views shown online. The hotel is right opposite the beach however, what wasn’t known was that the view is of a huge green inflatable assault course in the sea. The location is ideal for young families which was not what we were looking for, we would have preferred somewhere less commercial. The hotel itself is clean, modern and the staff were very friendly. "Very close to beautiful harbour "

"We stayed in the property with 3 adults and 3 children (ages 9, 11, and 15). The apartment was big enough for all of us and the internet and air-conditioning were good. A short walk to the bus station, super-market, and water. Basic and worth it."

"Fantastic location"

"Wonderful to step out of the apartment into the prettiest street in the old town. Wonderful views from the balcony. Great to be able to lay out on the raised platform in private too. The only downside to staying here is you get the noise from the bars underneath till the early hours. Even with the windows shut we had to use earplugs. Cathedral bells start at 6 am which was a shock the first morning. The bed is the most comfortable i've ever experienced ."

"The apartment was clean, roomy and modern. It was close to the tourist strip and close to the real City. I enjoyed the view of the church. I never did figure out how to run the washer correctly. It would have been nice to of had instructions."
