"This property and new subdivision of Mauna Kea properties is outstanding. Our house was immaculate and perfect for us. We never make use of community amenity center but we absolutely loved the pool and water slide here. Plunge pool and hot tub at the house got much use as well. We had everything that we needed to make family meals. House came equipped with most everything you may need for beach lounging. This house was a great find - will stay here again for certain!"

"This lovely home exceeded our expectations. We've been traveling to the Big Island since 1984 and this was our favorite stay. Comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated with gorgeous views. We enjoyed breakfast on the lanai and preparing meals in the roomy, well stocked kitchen. Access to the Mauna Kea Resort and the on-site pool was frosting on the cake! Donna is a pleasure to work with and answered our questions promptly & kindly. Already looking forward to our next visit!"

"We had the most amazing time during our stay in Puako thanks to the beautiful Home of the Hula Moon and the graciousness of the host (Gail) and property manager (Nikki). From the moment we checked in until the moment we left, our every need was met. The home is in a spectacular location, right on the beach which provides beautiful views of sunrises and sunsets. The home is very tastefully decorated and extremely well-maintained. It’s clearly the most well-stocked home we’ve ever rented, with high-end linens and an abundance of kitchen supplies. We felt pampered and never found ourselves in need of a single thing. The communication with both the host and the property manager was exceptional. They were always available and responded quickly with information and/or answers to questions. The detailed description of the house rules and home details set a foundation of clear expectations for our stay which was very much appreciated by me and my entire family. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and would love to come and visit again. Thank you Gail and Nikki for a vacation of a lifetime!"
