"Very cute apartment over 3 floors with a small but fully stocked kitchen. Good air con on top 2 floors. Short steep walk (7 mins) to the top of motovun. You check in at a restaurant up the hill and one of the staff then takes you to the apartment. Free parking nearby. Only real negatives were the shower cubicle which was way too small and quite a few mozzies in the evening when drinking wine on the terrace…"

"It was our second time at Maistra Funtana. And we have already booked for next year, again. A very well organized and very good managed hotel. It should deserve at least 4*. Tasty food, clean and recently renovated rooms, a lovely pool kids pool and a nice beach with a lot of included sports offerings. "Our first trip to Croatia. We stayed for a week during very hot weather. The pool and wellness facilities were excellent. The a/c in the room was great and accommodation all very comfortable. We loved the vibe in Novigrad and ate at a few of the restaurants, just a short walk from the hotel. There is also a lovely park you can walk to where there is easy access to swim in the sea. We had free parking at the hotel and had days out inPorec, umag and rovinj."

"We loved this property. It is quaint and quiet but located right in the center of Old Rovinj. Within footsteps are restaurants and stores. The staff cooked breakfast each morning and there was a medium sized buffet. We also used the parking for our small rental car. Highly recommend this hotel!"

"This was our second visit to the Lone Hotel, and once again we were not disappointed. The Hotel is immaculate, and its modern, clean-line design is impressive. We booked a Grand Double Room overlooking the the Cape Forest and pool. It was spacious, well presented, and came with a large balcony that made the stay feel even more special. The breakfast buffet offered a great selection, and every member of staff we spoke to was polite and courteous. A special mention goes to Milena ( we hope we spelt her name correctly) who worked both breakfast room and restaurant. She was always smiling, friendly and chatty a fantastic example of excellent customer service. The Lone Hotel should be proud to have her on their team. The facilities throughout the hotel were excellent, and we would happily recommend this hotel to anyone planning a holiday Rovinj. For transfers from the airport we booked through Maistra Hotels and weren't disappointed."

"We had an amazing time at this hotel. The buffet was amazing with large varieties of food and even containing vegan + vegetarian options. The hotel is very close to the sea, though distances differ depending on your room number. There were many enjoyable evening activities, both for adults and for children. We recommend this hotel!"

"We had a fantastic stay and honestly felt that the resort exceeded our expectations. We stayed in one of the villas rather than the main hotel and traveled with our two young daughters. We drove from Budapest and found the entire arrival process very easy. We parked in the designated parking area, took the short ferry ride across, and the staff brought our luggage directly to our room. The villa was excellent. The air conditioning kept the room nice and cool, the water pressure was great, there was always plenty of hot water, and everything worked exactly as it should. The Wi-Fi was also excellent throughout the resort, which was important since I needed to do some remote work during our stay. I was even able to use one of the conference rooms for several Zoom meetings. The resort itself was beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The beaches were great, the pool was nice, and there was always something to do. Our daughters loved the Kids Club, the nightly mini disco, and all of the activities available throughout the day. There was also live music and entertainment for adults in the evenings. The staff were wonderful. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and professional. The food was good overall and about what we would expect from an all-inclusive resort. Some meals were better than others, but we always found plenty to enjoy. The only area that felt a little crowded was the main dining room during peak dinner hours. We found that eating a bit later"
