"I really want to give 5 stars for this place- but unfortunately…,,,,The location and the house is stunning! But the let downs was the cleanliness. The spa was disgusting and had broken glass by the gate. Nearly every piece of cutlery, tray, plate and cup was dirty. No hand soap or dishwashing liquid. The first night no hot water. The fire pit is on a side of a hill- no chance for confit- and the house is 12 people- 3 double rooms 1 room with 4 bunks and a downstairs with 2 sofa beds. But no one...

"The cabin was clean and warm but I was glad I took my own doona as this is snow country.. the one negative is that there was no potable water supplied as the cabin is on bore water. Because I booked on Expedia I did not consult the website and nor did the first host message say I had to bring my own drinking water ( why should I look for other messages after that?) and on arrival I was told I could buy a 4 lt water for $8.
