Little touches include the little note at breakfast announcing the forthcoming performance, the apéro in the afternoon before a shuttle-bus trip to and from the Festspielhaus and the option to dine after a performance. "My favorite thing about this hotel was the little bridge that led across the Itz stream right into old Coburg. The walk from the train station sucks right now, since there is some serious construction going on all over Coburg. But that little bridge was everything! Great access to a nice town. The breakfast was good and plentiful, and our room was the typical Ibis basic but clean arrangement."

"The room was so clean and comfortable! It was warm but the front desk allowed us to borrow fans. It was very spacious. Breakfast was a really great spread. The hotel is very close to town, no more than a 15 minute walk. The only problem I had was I had to have cash to get water and didn’t bring any so I had to run to the store to get water with my card. But other than that it was perfect. It was very accommodating for our dog as well!"
