"This was solo 3 night trip for a family graduation. This is my 1st time at this location. I was just as happy with my stay as the Carowinds location. My king bed suite was perfect for one person. The bed was comfy and big TV that swivels was perfect. Hot water available, room was clean. Staff friendly and helpful. I missed free breakfast until the last day- it looked decent (standard spread). I will consider staying here again."

"The staff was extremely nice and it was a quick check in. Unfortunately, the elevator was still out of service so we had to take the stairs to the 4th floor. We got settled in and realized there was no microwave in the room. The only microwave available was all the way downstairs on the main floor.... The room was clean and we LOVED the layout. The sheets/bedding were clean and extremely soft. There was very limited space between the toilet and the bathroom door but that was fine. Breakfast was good. There were different options each day. On the last day of our stay, someone spilled something sticky on the steps that lasted from the 3rd level to the ground floor.... We had to clean our shoes once we got outside. Also, the higher the floor, the steeper the steps. Overall, it was an OK stay. Cleanliness and staff were great, amenities....... Eh."

"I was very disappointed with my experience. I booked this property by phone because it offered the space my family needed, including three bedrooms and multiple rooms. After a 12-hour drive with my children, we finally arrived only to be told at check-in that the hotel was overbooked and could not accommodate us. The staff member stated that they had reached out by email, but I never received any email or phone call notifying me of the issue before our arrival. What was even more frustrating was the lack of empathy shown by the staff. The interaction felt very routine, as if situations like this happen regularly. Considering that North Carolina is extremely busy during this time of year and most suites were already fully booked, we were left scrambling to find alternative accommodations. In the end, we had to settle for a hotel room with only two beds, which was not suitable for our family’s needs. After driving for 12 hours with children, this was the last thing we expected. Better communication and customer service could have made a very stressful situation much easier to handle."

"My room has roaches crawling everywhere!! The place stinks of urine nothing smelled clean! We did not stay any longer than the 15 minutes it took us to get checked out which she still didnt do. She wrote a note about us leaving and never checked us out! The gentlemen the next morning when I drove back to check in my cancelation actually helped me get my refund settled they were great!"

"Such a beautiful hotel with the sweetest staff. Breakfast was as good as I’ve ever had at a hotel of this class. Coffee is outstanding! We needed a later checkout due to a tournament our son was playing in, and they didn’t even blink in allowing us to check out at 2:00 with no charge. I’d we ever come back to Charlotte, we would certainly stay here again!"

"Elevators were down! Recent Post hip replacement and both having knee problems this was a Huge problem! We had help carrying our luggage down the stairs but walking up and down those stairs was very uncomfortable! When the breakfast is fresh such as the cinnamon rolls they were outstanding! Today they were hard and dry!"
