"A well appointed, spotlessly clean, and oh so comfortable hideaway, with lovely bush views. Hearing kiwi calling in the night and kākā during the day added to the feeling of being somewhere very special. Our hosts were lovely, and generous with their time and suggestions of things to do. The bach is just up the road from the Tawharanui Open Sanctuary (and night-time kiwi spotting), and the Matakana Market and Cinema are just 10 minutes away. We'll be back!"

"Very cute, warm cosy room. Tastefully decorated and such an amazing shower with a rain head as well!! Easy checkin, just a 5 minute walk to little manly beach and a short 5 minute drive to Whangaparoa shopping centre. All in all a beautiful spot and place. Just be aware there isn’t a full kitchen, just the usual toaster, capsule coffee machine and hot water kettle. The hosts gave a nice little touch couple of chocolates each upon arrival as well."

"The property is cool. We took our elderly mum. The entrance to the house is flat and was easy for her to navigate. The house is well appointed in Kiwi chic, very comfortable beds, bathroom with shower and bath is very tidy, address was very easy to find, 2 mins from the Warkworth Township. Steve is a top chap, nothing is a problem. The sheep on the other hand were a complete disappoinment, generally disinterested in us."
