"I stayed in a twin room with private bathroom. Room was clean and comfortable and even came with built in wardrobe. The hosts are wonderful and made breakfast in the morning. It's a peaceful place with a 3rd floor terrace that has a beautiful view of the city. Felt very safe here and loved interacting with the host family."

"Very nice hotel and room. We stayed in a few different hotels around Kathmandu and this is by far the best one yet. From the moment you walk in you're greeted by the friendly workers and owner. Throughout our stay anything we needed was sorted asap. The room itself is very big, enough for 3 adults comfortably (we were only 2). Bed sheets,bathroom, towels were all clean and not looking like they have been used for years. Room service is also available at a reasonable priced and food quality is...

"We had a lovely stay at Avalon house and the staff just did everything right. We got a homecooked meal both days and had a late flight the following day but we were still allowed to have our bags stored there and use their wifi while we were waiting. Very much appreciated!"
