Expensive, 50 per day, for that price you can book at Travellodge with toilet inside the room and in conditions, plus maybe breakfast included. The only good thing was ability to cook"

"Rather a quirky place on the edge of Bristol. There is a bus stop right outside, very convenient, took about 40 minutes into city centre so no parking to worry about. Our room was rather dark with heavy wood and colour scheme, but well enough equipped, although there was a considerable amount of traffic noise. Tiny shower and diy breakfast (plenty of it). The owner was away but the gentleman who welcomed us was very friendly and chatty. This was not a luxury stay but fine for a stopover. "

"A comfortable and clean place to stay before an early morning flight out of Bristol Airport. Was easy walking distance to the airport, with a pub and nice green area park close to it. It was clear parking is somewhat limited, ( I didn't drive but it was something that was noted quite a bit). Check out wasn't too difficult either, and wasn't too loud from the airport, so was able to get plenty of sleep before the flight."

"First the bad bits-its past history as an hostel clearly shows, especially when you notice staff only inhabit the property, thrice daily before leaving, causing mess to linger for upto six hours. As a matter of fact, the owners are only seen during breakfast for a short period, which can be frustrating if something goes wrong, like it did with me and you have no way of contacting them; There should be, in my experience of traveling, somebody knowledgeable enough on hand, for those like me, who...

"Great place to stay, helpful hosts who keep regular contact during the arrival stage. Comfy clean room, adequatley heated and tea, coffee kettle included. Food servered downstairs Wed-Sun ... luckily we stayed the Wednesday because the food was excellent. "

"Torlands was a lovely place. Nothing was too much trouble for the hoist. They made us feel at home and their house is beautiful. It was very quiet and the views from upstairs were beautiful. Delicious breakfast. We would definitely stay at Torlands again. "

"The apartment itself was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable, with little to no outside noise to disrupt sleep. Reception isn’t open on weekends but there was great communication from staff giving me information of how to access anything I needed. It’s a walkable distance into the town centre, Castle and Cardiff Central station, therefore offering places nearby to get any food, shopping etc. "

"Overall the property was in a great location.Flat was everything that you needed. Pity however that it was missing just a few little touches. A small bottle of milk would not have gone amiss. No salt and pepper. The TV remote control needs to be replaced. Control buttons not working . Could not get any BBC channels on free view . All small problems . The entry instructions were great and very clear. "

"The place was spotless and had little touches to help make the stay comfortable. We had a minor issue with one of the apartments, but customer service was quick to deal with it and we really appreciated that. Overall a nice stay with great location, car parking is quite limited though."
