"Overall grade of "good" is deserving. Property has aged but kept up fairly well. *Recommend removing all trees in front of property. Put smaller shrubs in front. Add flowers. It will enhance appearance immeasurably. Consider remodeling bathrooms. Best wishes. Bob and Dawn Maple Grove, MN"

"This was such an amazing find. The rooms are beautiful and had the best sleep ever in a hotel. The beds are so comfortable, our family is still talking about the beds. Add in an amazing lake view and the property is gorgeous. We really want to come back and stay longer on the next trip."

"We had a wonderful stay at this property! The yard was beautiful, and the fire pit was a favorite. We also loved relaxing on the deck, enjoying the beautiful view and the large umbrella that provided plenty of shade. We rented our pontoon from Balsam Lake Lodge, which made pickup and drop-off very easy and convenient. The house was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great stay."

"We had an absolutely wonderful family stay from August 20th–23rd! Our group of 8 adults and two young children (3 months and 2 years old) had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy time together. The home was incredibly spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, especially the large kitchen and dining areas, which made preparing and sharing meals together so easy.The lakefront was definitely a highlight. We brought our own inflatable raft, but there were also plenty of kayaks, paddle boards, a canoe, floats, and other water toys available in the boathouse. The private beach and dock were perfect for enjoying the lake, while the decks and fire pit made for relaxing evenings and beautiful sunsets.With seven bedrooms and four bathrooms, everyone had plenty of privacy while still having great gathering spaces. The property was especially family-friendly, and having so much room made traveling with little ones easy and comfortable.We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily return. It was the perfect setting for a memorable family getaway!"

"This an excellent property with lovely lake views. It is well cared for and pet friendly. It has everything you need for a relaxing get away.The house is exceptionally clean. The kitchen has everything you need for a large group (we were 10 adults and 1 child) The sports equipment is in excellent working condition.The hosts are engaged and great communicators."

"This easily was the best vacation rental we EVER have had. The property was beautiful, the house was clean and well appointed, the rooms were very comfortable. Amenities like air-conditioning and laundry were a lifesaver. We spent hours kayaking, Panfish, largemouth bass and walleye in the river flowage. Had a fire each night and got to watch the meteor shower. Even the neighbors were fantastic! We hope it’s available next year!! 7 out of 5 stars!!"
