"I was very surprised that when I went to breakfast they are now charging $15 to eat. The breakfast was never something to brag about and now they are getting guests to pay for it. Not a good idea but just one person’s opinion. I am sure others will start to comment "

"Yes, it’s historic. I understand they are doing some renovations. We stayed in a room not renovated. Bathroom sink knobs didn’t work right. Plaster and trim work falling off the walls everywhere . Bathroom sink vanity had leaked under and was dark and rotted. Room furniture missing knobs and veneer. Our clothes and belongings felt damp in the morning. Shower was excellent."

"Loved this B&B!! Our room was fantastic- comfy bed and loved the gas fireplace. Breakfast was delicious, and loved that there was a “pantry” for a midnight snack and/or a bottle of water. Would definitely stay here again!!"

"I was shocked that the room as so old and nothing had been painted ever, paint falling off the doors, the chair I sat in at the table started to break from age and use, the sink was held up with an unpainted 1x4. The large dog next door barked into the night, around 3:00 in the morning the room next door opened the door between the rooms on their side and was trying to open mine and totally freaked me out that someone was entering my room, didn’t sleep a wink with all the noise, dog barking and someone trying to enter my room. Worst stay of my life"

"Not sure what to love more? The immaculate decor? The quaint design? The peaceful escape? We love to find quaint little run aways for the weekend so we can habe a moment to reconnect decompress and relax. This location is perfection. The details are all there and my foodie husband was VERY pleased with the properly stocked kitxhen utensils. My only complaint.... one set of the pillows was far too dense for my necks pleasure but the other set was perfect. It was a very goldilocks relationship but it worked out. "
