"This is a great base for skiing Mammoth Mountain. The location is close to groceries, restaurants, ski shops. It is just a short drive to our favorite parking area. We did not try the shuttle. The condo is a little long in the tooth, but serves the purpose at a reasonable price. The place could use some maintenance on the heat and plumbing. "

When we arrived it was like walking into an oven. The only option were portable room fans. It was 80 degrees outside and felt like 90+ inside. "Just wrapped up a stay at Limelight Mammoth and loved it. The location is unbeatable — steps from the Village Gondola, so no shuttles needed to hit the slopes. Our room felt more like a mountain apartment, with a kitchenette, plush FiliDoro linens, and gorgeous mountain views.[limelighthotels +1] The amenities sealed the deal: a heated pool, two hot tubs (one nearly 104 degrees, perfect post-ski), and a well-equipped 24-hour gym with Peloton bikes and free Therabody recovery tools. Breakfast in The Lounge was a great. Staff were warm and attentive, though service can slow slightly during busy dinner hours . Minor quibble aside, this boutique, pet-friendly hotel is one of the best bases in Mammoth Lakes, and we’re already planning a return trip."
